“Let’s Go! San Diego” is a campaign to put an initiative on the November 2024 ballot that would fund much-needed transit in San Diego and prioritize investment in communities of concern. We'll be collecting petition signatures for this important measure on campuses until October.
Join SanDiego350, Environmental Health Coalition, UCSD Green New Deal and other partners for the college kickoff event and training, where you will learn about the initiative and how it will improve health and promote transportation equity and a connected, mobile future for all San Diegans. At the kickoff, you can sign up to petition or for other volunteer roles. We will have petition packets ready to go so you can hit the ground running and start collecting signatures right away!
Lunch will be provided!
We'll be meeting in the Common Room at the First Unitarian Universality Church in Hillcrest (follow signs). Please make every effort to carpool, walk or bike, or take public transit. The 11 and 3 buses stop near the church. We will have a limited number of parking vouchers, and overflow parking is available for an hourly rate at the nearby hospital.
