The County of San Diego is updating its Climate Action Plan (CAP) and proposing an ambitious decarbonization framework to address the climate emergency. Both have major impacts on tackling the climate crisis in our region. We are already experiencing more frequent and severe climate catastrophes and it is more important than ever to take action.
Come make your voice heard at this County Board of Supervisors (BoS) meeting by giving a public comment. At this meeting, they will present a progress report for the CAP Update – subject to change. Join our chorus to ensure the County sets BOLD goals to combat this existential crisis. We will guide you through the process and provide talking points about our policy priorities at the county level.
Please sign up to speak and we will contact you with more information. You can help even if you can't be at the meeting. It's easier than you think and really makes a difference!
